Call for Submissions - USAK Yearbook of International Politics and Law 2010

The USAK Yearbook of International Politics and Law,  which is published in English once a year, invites submissions for its third issue that is to be published in January 2010. Encouraging interdisciplinary studies the USAK Yearbook focuses on international politics and law yet it  also accepts studies on international security, international relations, sociology, anthropology as well as area studies those are focused on the Middle East, Balkans, the Caucasus, Europe, Asia etc. with a global perspective. The USAK Yearbook also publishes writings, critiques and commentaries concerning recent developments.

Submitted articles should be original and should contribute to the existing literature. They should not under consideration for publication or have been previously published. The author is responsible for adhering to these rules, and in submitting a paper, automatically accepts the rules of the USAK Yearbook.

The final deadline for submissions is 20 November 2009.

COŞKUN studied at International Relations Department of Hacettepe University. She is currently a researcher at the USAK Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies.
 Osman Bahadir DINCER
Osman Bahadır Dinçer is a Turkish researcher studying on Middle East and Political Science with particular reference to social and political movements, political development and democratization in the Middle East.
 Yucel ACER
Yücel Acer, academic and author, is a Turkish academic specialist on International Law with particular reference to International Law of the Sea and International Armed Conflicts. Assoc. Prof. Dr. at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and the USAK, Ankara-based Turkish think tank.
 Sedat LACINER
Sedat Laciner, academic and author, is a Turkish academic specialist on the Middle East and International Relations, with particular reference to Turkish foreign policy. Dr. Laciner is the director of the International Strategic Research Organization (USAK).
 Selcuk COLAKOGLU
Assoc. Prof. Dr. of International Relations. He is the Head of Asia-Pasific Studies at USAK (International Strategic Research Organization)
